Take the Return to School 2020 Survey
Students and parents/guardians,
Since we cannot yet predict what September will look like, we need to be prepared for a range of possibilities. We know we can’t do this without your input!
Please click the link below and scroll down to take the "Return to School 2020" Survey
Why take the survey?
-It's available in Arabic, English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish.
-it will help the DOE to understand what is most important to you for when we schools open in the fall
-If you know someone who cannot take the survey online, they can call 311.
As per the Mayor and Chancellor of NYC, all public schools are closed and we are currently following a remote learning model.
- Read the latest letter from Chancellor Carranza regarding summer school here
- All schools will be open for grab-and-go meals for breakfast & lunch this week.
- Make sure the school has your updated contact information. If not, send your phone numbers and email addresses to email@example.com
- Check our website regularly for DOE updates.
- Check out our Student and Parents Remote Learning pages for information about classes and technology.
Message from the Principal:
April 11, 2020
Dear Eagle Harlem Community,
As you likely have heard, this morning, in two press conferences, Mayor De Blasio and Governor Cuomo present contradictory messages about school closures in the city for the remainder of the year. Clearly, the safety and education of our students are our first priority. Attached, please find the letter to families sent to the Principals today by the Chancellor. This letter will also be posted on the InfoHub Coronavirus Letters page, along with all translations which should be posted tomorrow.
As I receive further information and guidance, I will stay in close touch and appreciate your patience and flexibility at this time.
Principal Washington (I.A.)
