Ms. Laronda Hooks, Administrative Secretary

Ms. Hooks is the Administrative Secretary at the Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem. 

She attended New York City Technical were she studied Secretarial Science and Professional Studies at Katherine Gibbs. She is also an entrepreneur/small business owner. She works closely with Principal Bethea, the Directors and Educators to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience for your sons. 

She has lived in Harlem for approximately 20 years and is an active member of the community. Her family roots are in North Carolina; however, she was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Some of her duties at Eagle Harlem include, but are not limited to, student/personnel records, requisitions and supplies, telephone communications and general administrative office procedures.

Mr. Nathaniel Deverteuil, Director of Operations

Mr. Deverteuil is the Director of Operations at Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem. His role at Eagle Academy is to provide project management support on a variety of operations initiatives, including facilities, and purchasing to ensure smooth, predictable, and effective outcomes. 

Mr. Deverteuil was born in Brooklyn, NY but raised on the beautiful island of Barbados, West Indies. I graduated from Park west High School. For his undergraduate degree he had the pleasure of going to a Historically Black College by the name of Morris College and received his Bachelors of Science degree in recreation administration.
